Fred Leo Brown has been speaking Loud and Clear about the
courage he saw on the battlefields of Vietnam since 1968. In
1994, for the first time, he brought his "Boot Camp Classroom,"
to the classroom. It quickly turned into his Character
Educational play Lessons of War. Since then he has traveled
well over 200,000 miles and performed thousands of times
receiving rave review for his gritty results orientated play.
Sergeant Brown fought in three major offensives including
the legendary 1968 Tet Offensive where his unit received
a Presidential Unit Citation. After eleven months of
combat, with his battalion suffering a staggering 300%
casualties, he was severely wounded and hospitalized for
seven months. Though disabled, Brown forged ahead to
start a multitude of businesses. Married for 36 years, he
has two daughters and in now a prould grandfather.
